Getting Started and Onboarding

1. Who can create a Brewszilla account?

Brewszilla is for adults aged 21 or above. Alcohol-related features, purchases and redemptions are available only if you are at least 21, or meet the higher legal drinking age at the outlet location based on the state policies for the bare minimum limit to legally drink.

2. Why does Brewszilla ask me to confirm that I am over 21?

The age confirmation helps restrict access to alcohol-related features. A Partner Brewery Outlet may still ask for a valid government-issued photo ID before serving a drink.

3. Does confirming my age in the app replace an ID check at the brewery?

No. The Brewery Outlet makes the final decision about age verification and service. Carry a valid original government-issued photo ID.

4. How can I sign up?

You can use the sign-in options shown on your device, such as Google or Apple, and complete mobile-number verification where requested.

5. Why do I need to verify my mobile number?

OTP verification helps secure your account, reduce fake profiles and support important account or transaction communications.

6. What information is required during registration?

Brewszilla may ask for your date of birth, name, handle, profession, profile image and verified mobile number. Buddy Mode may ask for additional profile details.

7. What is a handle?

Your handle is the unique name other Brewszilla users can use to recognise you. Choose one that does not impersonate another person or reveal information you prefer to keep private.

8. Why does Brewszilla request location access?

Location helps show nearby breweries, estimate distance, support nearby-person discovery when enabled, and validate certain outlet-based experiences.

9. Can I use Brewszilla without enabling location?

You can use parts of the app, but nearby recommendations, distance, check-ins and some redemption or safety features may be limited. You can manage permission in device settings.

10. Can I change my registration details later?

Most profile information can be updated from Profile. Certain verified details, such as mobile number may require additional verification. An email id and date of birth once registered cannot be changed.

11. Can I create more than one account?

No. One genuine account per person helps protect the community and prevents benefit misuse.

12. What should I do if I do not receive the OTP?

Check the number and country code, wait briefly and request another OTP. If it still does not arrive, use Contact Us. Never share an OTP with another person.
